Wow, in Delight (a piece of Tractor path, right?) the sky seems to be on fire! Very nice..
SeeMoon:
Yep, same area, slightly different perspective, about 5 minutes later... another 5 minutes, and it was all but gone from view completely. Did some using the light from the sunrise, yesterday morning... and the night before, using the ambient light of the full moon as a source... Will post them later.

Greaper...Now this is one beautiful photographic image. I love how smoothly the colors follow the gradients from yellow through orange to purple. Warmth counter balancing the cooler tones. The distortion in the reflections, the composition... Simply beautiful. ginette

A few sunsets last weekend, and I never am around for a sunset. In here where I live with the townhouses, suburbia, and the only place in MT pleasant not on the water, I don't see those things. And I don't get up that early, nor am I out at the right time either. I have never been big on scenics, so......... But I was quite proud of last weeks sunsets, first off, I don't think I had even seen one for a year.
ginger The one up there with the tree is the one I was really nuts over. I can't "do" trees, but this was just a gimme. Those are oyster shells at the bottom.
took that on the way home last night, I was steamng down the lanes trying to find a gap in the trees so that I could catch it, I ended up driving into a wheat field: here's another one
& in my current state i have forgotten the name of the person on this board whom stitched it for me...I made a hash of it & 'they' (come on...remind me') did a beaut job...1st class.
My software does a good job but you better get your horizons right !
It was Cletus I think??
Would you mind if I downloaded the original??

Now that's a shot. More than a sunset, it's a pic about something. Excellent shot, sir.
