    Maybe next year then...or maybe this winter...that's gotta be scenic. :D
    You know what? I bet you're right about the winter time. I know one other place that's pretty--it's a bit of a hike but Dewey Point is nice in the winter time. Gives you a great view of the valley--you can walk along the rim and toward Sentinel Dome and Glacier Point (think either XC ski or snowshoe--if you like camping in the snow, it's beautiful and very quiet too).

    You've inspired me! Last winter I hiked Dewey Point! (Sans my nice new DSLR) I had lost the photos...but with a little digging, I found them. :D
