Can't you still see the first embedded photo here?

Can you edit one of your posts or add a new one embedding the photo this way:

Does that one show for you?

Also run a traceroute to your site daveturner.smugmug.com . Try these instructions to run a traceroute on a PC:

Be sure to run it to daveturner.smugmug.com .

Sebastian thanks for the help as I logged in tonight it seems to be working ok ( but it did that yesterday a few times too ) I will try the traceroute later and see what it does. I guess I'm just wondering what it is with me and my computer that is causing the headake?

I tried to do the trace thing first off it took 2-3 min for the page to load then it said daveturner.smugmug.com is not recognized as an internal or external command. Did I do something wrong?

Have you tried a completely different computer on a different Internet connection? Like at a friend's house?

Also, see if you are able to see this:

I would have to believe it was the DNS clean. This whole thing seemed like a DNS issue.

Your website is loading fine except for the home page maybe because of the flash. There are two good Firefox extensions you can use to test your site’s performance, Jiffy and YSlow both handy tools, both built off of Firebug.
