Wowee, your illustrious judges, Mad Cat and sherstone, agreed on one photo, leaving you all with a tough choice to make among 19 finalists. This certainly wasn't an easy round, and congrats are definitely in order! :clap

What I like about having more than one judge in a round is you get a totally different perspective on what someone else likes.
I will be posting my comments in the gallery after my dinner.
GL everyone!

Congrats to all! clapclap

Yeah, I don't know about that Sherstone guy. Could be he needs to get his eyes checked ()
I freely have admitted that I am blind.
Is there some sort of surgery for that? I need to get blind so I can shoot as well as you.
Riddick: Gotta kill a few people.
Jack: 'Kay, I can do it.
Riddick: Then you got to get sent to a slam, where they tell you you'll never see daylight again. You dig up a doctor, and you pay him 20 menthol Kools to do a surgical shine job on your eyeballs.
Jack: So you can see who's sneaking up on you in the dark?
Riddick: Exactly.
Thanks for your comments on the Chef image. We'll see if I can pull off another win sometime soon, or if it was just anamolous luck..... I've only been hanging aroung smug/dgrin for a couple months or so - how often have you won? How many lifetime pro accounts do you have? Maybe I can buy one from ya?????? I'm sure Kerry would go for that.... w/mc
Just to be clear I have only ever won 1 lifetime account.
- Thank you SmugMug! -
Wess, let's steer this thread back to where is should be.
Congratulations to all of the participants in this SOOC challenge you all have taught me something by letting me participate in helping pick the finalist for the voting round. Look at your world from a different perspective every day and capture it. It really is nice to see how enthusiastic and passionate each and every one of you are.
Now go vote!
Thanks to MadCat for choosing mine.
Thanks to Kerry for choosing a SOOC MOVEMENT challenge and forcing me to learn how to operate my camera.
Now comes the hard part. Yikes!
Sherstone is right - let's get back on track. Being an old school film shooter I want to compliment everyone who participated on their in-camera skills. I honestly figured that a lot of folks would be lost without their Photoshop or Corel. Turns out I was dead wrong. What a great pleasure to work so many talented and creative people. Thank you all for listening. - wess
That really was a tough vote... I voted, and then saw a couple more that I had wanted to vote for... but I couldn't.... oh how I wish I could have three or four votes for this round
Well done, everyone. We've got some serious straight outta camera skillz over here at DGrin
Spread the love! Go comment on something!
