Good to know they are UV protected from the git-go......
I recently ordered from Bay Photo one of their metal prints, 10"x10" with the float blocks. I am extremely impressed with the appearance and quality of the product. Bay claims that they can be used outdoors, and looking at the finish of the product I believe that is true.
Canon 1D Mark IIN
Canon 350D
24-70 2.8L
70-200 2.8L IS
580EX II
1.4x Extender
Gitzo 3531 w/ RRS BH-55 Ballhead
RRS L-Plate, quick release clamp and plates
Durability
I ordered some license plates from Bay Photo through their ROES software (Can't get the product on Smugmug, Yet? ) and they seem to be very durable. A few thousand miles on them, and just wash the bugs off and they still look good. No scratches or chips yet.

~ 2 days in-lab, this time of year can be busier, so order early. No, not yet but possibly in the future, sorry!
Thanks for the new products available through Smugmug. I look forward to using them. Are you still planning on having the gator foam board and styrene mounting options in the future? I really would love to have those options available as all my big prints are ordered on styrene.
Re: License plates and other metal print merchandise via SmugMug>Bay Photo.
I haven't seen this answered yet so I'm asking on this thread. I use Bay Photo for my SmugMug printing.
I am unable to locate license plates, dog tags and ornaments on my "set prices" pages, either on the metal prints page, or in the merchandise page. I was about to e-mail a customer about ordering a license plate but I don't want to mention it if she would not be able to find it when she goes to order prints.

License plates from Bay Photo
Thanks for your replies. I had just assumed that because the info on these products is on the Bay Photo website, they would be available from Bay Photo through SmugMug.
