new recent photos box on homepage

My site, when it gets going, will be primarily videos. Those are the only ones I care about, actually. However, I know I'm in the minorority.

Why you say? "I know I'm in the minority"
I think that has nothing to do with a feature like "recent photo's" or "recent galleries". Or in common with something good at all !

I'm still convinced this "recent photo's" is a failure... totaly uncontrolable... with or without videos.
I hope they soon will unroll the possibility to show only the gallery-thumps of just one (sub)categorie on the homepage. Then we can decide ourselves what's is there... and call this what we like. "Recent videos" or "New Images" or so...

...and I think, the top is always in the minority, so?
