    I don't have the best gear for wildlife, but I was proud of this one. I grabbed it on a visit to CO in the summer. Shot with a Nikkor 70-300 VR, propped on a camera bag on a car roof. Thanks for looking!

    My "best" are really some of my favorites but I think they are pretty good photographically speaking as well.

    Thanks, I believe I shot that out my car door with my D2Xs and 300mm f4 with a 1.4x tc.

    Simo - I love that egret shot. Nice wingspread, but I also like the curves in the water behind him. Well done!

    Thanks redleash...guess I got lucky on that shot. It was at the end of the day and the heron was flying a lot. :D
