The others are a big 'overcooked' for me.
Guess I will have to go through mine .... one more time.

I also wish you hadn't written "last set, I promise". I would love to see more. These are just incredible!!

I think the word stellar wraps up my thought.
Haha, thanks, Dan. So now you know how I feel when I see your great wildlife shots and other cool places to see down in Tucson.

Thanks, Aaron. The only one I feel I overbaked was the "Land of Make Believe", and of course I titled it appropriately. That one I purposely exaggerated to see what it looked like. I liked that it brought out all the microdetails in the distance, and so went with it. My wife didn't like it though, so obviously it's not for everyone. The Canon S90 shot certainly wasn't overbaked -- that's straight out of the camera, with a little noise reduction applied to the sky.

Hahaha. Thanks, Brad. It sounds like a southwestern adventure is in your future. There's a lot to see and do out here. Although, given that you're a BMW motorcycle rider, you've probably seen your share already!

Thanks, Cuong! ISO 500 too! Although out of fairness I do admit some noise smoothing on the sky that's not necessary on my 5DMII.

Thanks, Christina! That's looking like the perennial favorite here.

Great! I have to admit I like the surreal look of the exaggerated details. My wife wasn't wild about the look though, so I understand it's not for everyone. I am relieved however to find out that I'm not the only one who liked it. So thanks for that!

Thanks Stephanie! That's kind of you to say as well. I figured people were getting burned out seeing all the shots from this journey and Aaron and I have been posting. I know I'm starting to. :giggle I could probably go for one more pass through my shots to see what I can dig up. On the other hand, it might be best to leave on a high-note.
Cheers,

Stellar? Wow, man. Thanks!
We're gonna have to drag you out there some time, eh?

Hey man, good to see you. Thanks for compliment on the shots, and I'm thrilled you like them. There is no question we live in an amazing country. Aaron and I shot for three days, and we ran into only a single other couple shooting in the area. They were from Europe, and had a local guide, so you know they were paying dearly for the privilege. That kinda says it all right there, huh?

As for your pictures, I don't think there's one I don't like

#5 is my favorite, great comp.
You and Aaron outdid yourselves, the only problem I have with your shots and Aaron's is that I wasn't there taking them too.

Thanks, Natalie. Much appreciated.
If you look at the dark rock balancing on top of the hoodoos, it's the same rock that you see as the top layer of rock at the top of the canyon. Evidently the white rock is softer, and gets eroded away in certain areas, and leaves other areas. But in doing so, a piece of the dark rock sometimes stays on top and ends up balancing there. That's just a guess on my part, mind you.
