Looking for a portable power supply. Can anyone tell me where to get it and if you know some reputable brands?

Portable Power Supply for what? Flashes? Strobes? Cameras?headscratch.gif

Some time ago I simply used a small, very portable, and almost silent Honda EU1000 inverter generator to supply all my needs without having to get any other combination of strobe/lighting power supplies.

Depending on power needs, something as simple as a fully-charged UPS might suffice…

Please do tell us more about your needs for portable power and your application.

Also it appears that you are using Firefox with a "Browser Highlighter" installed. Please disable "Browser Highlighter" as it inserts some hidden Java text which we interpret as potentially dangerous. I will correct your posts for now but if it persists I will have to delete your posts.

    Thanks,

I shoot a lot of locations stuff, specifically action. Snowboard, ski, mountain bike as well as weddings & portraits. So in my opinion Elinchrom Ranger is the way to go.photo.php?pid=3199600&id=727209702&fbid=129309234702

These packs are super portable, and weatherproof. As I mentioned I shoot a lot of snow action, and I have had these out in blizzard conditions and they stand up to a beating.
Get a nice beauty dish or soft box and you can get some great flattering portraits.

This is what I use for my strobes: http://alienbees.com/VIIsystem.html works great and Paul Buff's customer service can't be beat!
