Portable Power Supply for what? Flashes? Strobes? Cameras?
Some time ago I simply used a small, very portable, and almost silent Honda EU1000 inverter generator to supply all my needs without having to get any other combination of strobe/lighting power supplies.
Looking for a portable power supply. Can anyone tell me where to get it and if you know some reputable brands?
Please do tell us more about your needs for portable power and your application.

I shoot a lot of locations stuff, specifically action. Snowboard, ski, mountain bike as well as weddings & portraits. So in my opinion Elinchrom Ranger is the way to go.
These packs are super portable, and weatherproof. As I mentioned I shoot a lot of snow action, and I have had these out in blizzard conditions and they stand up to a beating.
Get a nice beauty dish or soft box and you can get some great flattering portraits.
