    The lace part looks exposed well, but the background does seem overly bright. Just make sure you don't lose detail in the lace if/when you bring the exposure down - or maybe you could selectively bring the exposure down on just the legs & background.

    Hi Jenn,

    I like your entry - great lace shot and crop, however to be honest, I have to say that
    I don't quite understand the presence of the towel under her feet...

    It's not a towel. It's a big white blanket I used as a background..... Laughing.gif You know those blankets that have a soft nap to them that makes you want to cuddle and hide under them on a cold day? :) HAHA

    The black lace really pops in the last version. thumb.gif The white blanket is a bit of a distraction, though, because its texture is pulling the viewer's attention away from the lace.

    But that's an easy fix. You can just mask it out with PS and replace it with a plain white background. You can then increase the canvas size on the bottom a little bit and fill it with white to put more space between the toe and the bottom of the photo.
