Jenn, they don't have too much fall feeling to me. Maybe you are too far South, where the autumn haven't started yet...?
Did I misunderstand the original instructions then? I thought it was for Autumn colors ... reds... yellows.. oranges.. rusts ... etc ... but not having to be of images taken in the fall or trees and leaves?
Here's the kicker: The pictures DO NOT have to feature leaves and trees (although they certainly may). As I look through my own photos I find that I am drawn to the saturated colors of autumn, but my subject is rarely a tree. So you are welcome to post anything that screams autumn color even if the subject is not something we normally associate with fall.

Fill my world with color! And...have fun!
Jen the pictures fit the theme in color. Although the one with the white and red flowers look more christmasy to me. But that is just my opinion.
I think a resize is in order for both your posts as it really takes a long time for them to load.
Holy cow, everyone! I'm sitting in an airport right now after days of long, long meetings and I am so refreshed by your photos! I asked you to fill my world with color and you have! (Thank goodness for my iPad!)
Jenn, JAG's answer was correct. And JAG, thanks for answering Jenn's question. I am pleased that Jenn was not left hanging while I was away.
I have some more busy days ahead, but look forward to seeing what is posted until the end. And then I'll panic...what a difficult time I'm going to have!!

I kind of feel like more people are going for images of actual fall scenes instead of the colors of fall, so I'm wondering if I should look for different images to submit because mine are summer flowers that have those fall colors in them?

Do you really think that doing what everyone else is doing is going to make your images stand out more?
We don't ever get any fall color (as far as leaves changing anyway) where I live, so I have to find my fall color in other ways.
1. From an area pumpkin patch last year.
2. My cosmos do bloom in the Spring, but they really take off in the Fall growing as high as the eaves of my roof (except aphids got them this year, doggone it). I also get butterflies visiting this time of year as they migrate further south.
3. I do have one tree in my yard whose leaves turned yellow last year.

Especially love the first one! Double Entendre?! "See?? All the pumpkins tried to climb on the hay.....THEY ALL FELL ! Duhhh! So don't you be tryin' it!"
Also, lovely exposure and comp!
Really like the comp, lighting and colors in # 2 also!
I thought the 'unstable hay' sign with the pumpkins was really cute & I couldn't resist taking that picture. I asked my daughter to pretend to climb up, but she thought that wasn't very cool. When we were leaving the farm, I saw a number of kids 'climbing' on the hay with a small group of photographers snapping away. I thought that was really funny, but I was too far away to participate in that one.

I wasn't sure about the red/white flower, but the other 2 have the red/rust/yellow theme in them.

Very nice! I love that sign. Not one we see in the Pac NW.
I think the purple and yellow flowers are asters.
Thanks, Tatiana!
