What dropped to the 3rd page with my last two shots ........... :wow
I'm mortified :lol4
So nuttin left to do but bump this puppy with on of Harry's favorite birdies
I had posted a couple of these yesterday..but didn't like the PP on them. It's a little better...but still looking odd. It looks like someone switched my glass out on me...and replaced it with one of them "funky blue" shooting Nikkor lenses. Some great blue herons that flew past.
Some of them sea beach rats. Don't have an "official" ID on these. Terns? Seagulls? Something else? They are NOT raptors :cry It's amazing they don't crash into each other. :uhoh
What happened to this post. Guess it fell out of favor. Did Ben chop off all the wings of the birds..so there are no more BIF shots ....left to be taken?
BETTER STICK THE LANDING, BIRD!!
an incoming ibis looks to stick (pun) the landing.

Shot 4 of this next guy. Only one was in focus. The reason I'll probably not be purchasing any 3rd party lenses again. The auto-focus motor on this lens is TOO SLOW and very loud. Can't wait to upgrade it. I seldom use it for birding ..but this GBH was all the way on the other side of the intra-coasal waterway (main route out of the backwaters into the Gulf of Mexico. This was also heavily cropped. I need more reach Grrrrrrrrrr
