Thank you Denise. That was taken a couple years ago at the Denali National Park. I recently found them in a folder on my older work computer and I processed a batch of bear images yesterday from that 2015 trip. We had seen a lot of bears, but we were sitting on a crowded tour bus when viewing them. So with the windows rolled down and me using my biggest lens at that time, a 200-500mm without a tripod set up and shooting across the bus from where I was sitting, out the window on the opposite side, I managed to get quite a few good ones, but not as many as I would have liked. Someday I will get a permit to drive inside the park myself and get out of the car to take pictures!
@Jørgen_Bjerring, I'm at a total loss to your connection between 2 nuns and an angel to this image of a giraffe.
To me the association was nearby. Both pictures are taken from behind showing figures walking away from you.
Ahhh, now I see the association. Very clever of you! Next time i'll wait for an answer before posting. Sorry I jumped to a conclusion you were maybe looking at an older post.

@Richard: Not sure what it is but it's way cool! Alien mother ship surrounded by its drones? Sorry, I've been reading the Expanse novels lately... It gives me weird ideas.
Cheers, Barbara--that's exactly what I was after. It's actually a low POV shot taken in Madrid's newest airport terminal. The weird things in the middle are heating/air-conditioning vents. The whole building is full of striking details.

Amazing how fast these glasses empty
The Danish brewery Carlsberg likes to use the phrase "probably the best beer in the World" about their own products. I will take the risk to be called a traitor by saying: That goes for Westmalle Dubbel. So I don't find it amazing at all that the glass is empty.
Thanks Jørgen, I also like Westmalle better than Carlsberg, but that's probably because pilsener is never my favourite beer. Even as a Dutchman I don't like Heineken too much either

Very cool stuff Jorgen! For graffiti with the girl in sunglasses......not sure but you might want to explore pano crop, just below the wall.....without the houses and stuff above....cheers!
Many thanks, Taz. As you can see below it may not be a good idea to crop the picture from top. To get a decent result one will have to crop to a detail or if you like to the main motive.

Thanks Richard! That was taken for a promotional poster for a local theater. I miss doing this kind of work.
Awesome pic.
Would you believe that it was not taken in a studio? I took them all out to a parking lot of the theater and it was a perfect overcast day. Then set up my remote flashes and shot it with no back drop. The hardest part was a long painstakingly procedure of removing the background completely and creating a new one from scratch as you see here. So thank you for commenting your approval, it's always good to know my work is worth the time and efforts!
Also, FYI, the blank space on the right was for promotional information used on the poster. I just didn't want to bother cropping it to post for the challenge.
Yeah, I saw the original and the poster in your SmugMug gallery, and understand that it had to have been laborious to eliminate the background. Oh, and I cropped it before quoting it in this thread
Thanks! The group spent about an hour there one morning after our main shoot, and some of us (not me) went back on their own for a second look see. The barn with the art inside was closed that day, but there were lots of shots to be had. The above is from my infrared body.

Thanks Joyce @JAG . It took me ages to figure out how to get the yellow spider to stand out against the yellow flower. An earlier version below that shows the lack of separation between the flower and the crab spider
@DavidRGillespie I actually like the original better! The color of the spider is a camouflage feature. I think it's interesting how it blends so much with the flower, that even a bee cannot see it and gets caught in the spiders grasp! Kudos on capturing nature in its glorious moments!

No harm done.

Thanks @denisegoldberg! I thought the lines fairly well matched up with your shot - just human art in the forest!

Great shot David. I know exactly where that's at in the Palouse and I never took the time to try to get a shot of the fence. Kudos!

Looks to me as a part of Christianshavns Kanal
Yes, sir, you are correct. Shot during a harbor cruise some years ago.
This is a great capture @DavidRGillespie ! What a great find!

@JAG Thanks for the feedback. As an entomologist, I like to see the wee beasties, but you are right. The gestalt makes a more interesting story.
