Ho Hum shots Harry,I feel for you though ,heck having to go all the way up to ISO 500 and hand held with out your pod, only to get shots like this, man that sucks:cry .Maby next time you'll get some decent Eagle shots for your gallery,Lord knows you could use one or tworolleyes1.gif .

OK all kidding aside, these are great.Although I thought I was the only one shooting raptors on power poles. As for your Eagle gallery, well ive never seen so many spectacular Eagle shots in one place before. My hats off to you Harry...ice
Thanks very much for the kind words Ice. I'm glad you enjoyed the eagle gallery. I hope to get a batch more eagle shots this year and replace some of the older shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

WOW harry! You can cry but I would be thrilled with anyone of these! Sounds to me like you need to have 2 cameras ready at all times! I am hoping to get up and out there in the early am (mon).clap.gifclap.gifclap.gifclap.gifclap.gif
Thanks Trish. Normally I would have had a second camera ready but my D2h stopped metering correctly and is back in Nikonland again for more repairs. :cry

Darn you would be going this Monday. Its the first Monday in weeks that I won't be there. Linda has to take her dad to the doc and we have the landscapers coming over to redo our landscaping and I'm stuck on house duty.

Welll don't fret...never made it there in the AM...was around 4:30 or so...after a lovely lunch with my sister and an old HS friend. 3 margaritas later i stopped at the WL...boy can a margarita or 3 change the perspective of those darn potholes! I shot some sorry shots and tried to follow the kingfisher...but actually HE follows me! And stays just utside of my 340mm reachne_nau.gif

I think you should sell that darn houserolleyes1.gif set up camp at the WL....

Margaritas, next to Corona my favorite beverage. Thats a good idea about them changing your perspective. Maybe for the next assingment we will do shooting after 3 maragritas. That would be very interesting.

My D2h is winging its way back home, hopefully it will be home by the weekend. Linda likes the idea of me camping at the wetlands but she'll keep the house. Somehow she feels that 95% of her cleaning will be eliminated if I did that. headscratch.gifne_nau.gif
