    1 - The Rookery

This is a sad pic. This Rookery was destroyed by a tornado shortly after this pic was taken.

    2 - Badlands

Went to the Badlands again this year. Lots of good shots from there, this is one of my favs.

    3 - Swan

I take so many swan shots during the winter, I have to include one of those.

Hopefully I'll get out more this year than last.

I'm hoping you get out more too because your work is always a joy to view. I remember reading about the destruction of the GBH's neating area, very sad.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

After trying for 15 years to get a decent shot of the Louisiana Black Bears that live on Avery Island, my husband and I finally had a few chances over about a month's time this fall. The amazing thing to see over the month was how much weight the bear gained, eating acorns to prepare for the denning season:

Happy New Year to all! Best, Pam

Perfect exposure on that set Pam. thumb.gif
