    To all you 5D3 owners,

    I am coming over.

    Ted
I'm not too far north of you, Ted. Have you decided to join the 5Dmk3 team or are you on the 1Dx team still?

I meant that as "I am coming over your place to snag your cameras." :D But, I think after my weddings in April, I will plunker down and get one. I kinda like focusing at night. You know.

Is it alright if I say I am team Medium Format? But uhh.. since that is a pretty pricey team to join...

I am team TED. And Team Ted likes to travel. So I'll keep dreaming of the 1DX [a guy can dream, can't he??] and save for a 5D3.

Well, I finally got my paws on my body only kit from Adorama last night. I am very, very happy so far with just the handling as compared to my 7D (and to the 5Dmk2 that I borrowed from CPS). Although there are TONS of comparison shots on the interwebs at this point, I managed to bang out a basic ISO test at 10PM last night to really see what the difference is between them all on my own. I happened to lose power for 4+ hours last night pretty much right after UPS made the delivery. Reading the manual and playing with the camera by candle light certainly made me giggle.

I shot my first wedding with it Saturday and my first engagement session Sunday. Quite possibly the most perfect wedding camera ever made. The AF on it is SPECTACULAR. Great in single shot and in servo mode for tracking. This camera is a game changer and I am definitely going to pick up a second one shortly.
