    I struggle to find the subject in many of these. It's not obvious to me. And having a chunk of road or guardrail in the middle of the photo screams "snapshot" to me as you weren't willing to take the time to compose the picture with distracting elements outside the frame.

    i took them off the highway while driving and the subject is what it looks like to live in alaska
    thank you for the advice. i am not a photographer but would like to be .

    I'm enjoying your pictures. CatOne gave you some good critiques. I'm pretty sure he knows what Alaska looks like as he's pretty well traveled.
