I struggle to find the subject in many of these. It's not obvious to me. And having a chunk of road or guardrail in the middle of the photo screams "snapshot" to me as you weren't willing to take the time to compose the picture with distracting elements outside the frame.

I'm enjoying your pictures. CatOne gave you some good critiques. I'm pretty sure he knows what Alaska looks like as he's pretty well traveled. Keep shooting and posting, and with your desire, you WILL improve. Trust me, we're all still improving. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
