This is a pose/shot I have tried unsuccessfully to master for a while now. Care to share how you manage to get the DOF JUST on her face, and also any tricks to figure out the angle? I'm hopeless at this one, although I just love the look when I see others who nail it every time!!

This was my first time using this pose, and I was blown away too! I was just laying on my belly and going with my gut on the angle and crop, so I don't know if I can really offer much advice from a standpoint of real knowledge. I was maybe three feet from her face with the Canon 100mm 2.8 prime and flat on the ground so my elbows were propped nice and still, and I was just trying to nail the focus on her eyes. It (the focus) doesn't always work out this well for me, either, but I know I'm definitely going to use this pose more!
My problem is finding a way for the angle for the head/eyes to stay natural and the image not to be TOO turned - you've really nailed it here, especially with that diagonal slice of DOF to draw you right in. I just love it
