What you really should do is get a "focus group" of NON-photographers that are in the demographic that you are targeting. See what they think. I bet that most people would love these even though a lot of photogs here think they are gimmicky.
Good stuff, Hackbone. My favorite is actually the chick with the red texture, although I would like to see the texture vignette a LITTLE tighter. (Actually a lot tighter, but the chick will prob like the oval vignette elongating her face.) I would also make the texture a little darker (you see the red/black part at the bottom? It should be more like that all the way around. The upper right is just too bright. You could also possibly wrap the the upper left texture -slightly- under her hair for more tightness and to make the head pop.
For the first one, the green/yellow earth texture does not go will with her red clothes and skin.
I really like the paint splash one, but I would probably reduce the exposure on her slightly. In particular, I don't like the hot edge of her face laid against a black background. It looks too cut-and-pasty.
I guess that's it. My photos suck in comparison, so take this with a grain of salt.

If I didn't have a history with you, I wouldn't say this...but I do...so I will...
To me, this looks like something Andy Warhol threw up on.
Sorry Charles, that was the first thing that popped into my head when I looked at it.
