NewSite - Keyword Page

The first issue is my /keyword page only shows about 1/10 of my keywords. This is the page
where all keywords should appear not like the keyword widget box that has a limit of 255.

Hovering each keyword I do not get an alt box showing quantity like the legacy site.

When I go to one of the keywords there seems to be a limit of 1000 photos in a keyword gallery.
/keyword/keyword

This is ridiculous. I have 2455 of one keyword and many more that are over a 1000.

BTW, all my keyword gallery pages are a set width ~750, how do I get them all to stretch?

I'm seeing the same thing on my site. I haven't exposed the keyword page from my navbar because it is (very) incomplete.

Need ALL keywords
Just implemented a keyword page and keyword menu item in the Preview area of my NEW SMUGMUG (have not taken it live yet). The only option I had to add keywords to the page was the "keyword cloud" which many of us know now only shows 255 max keywords with a shady process of determining which keywords show. Also, I don't know why some keywords are bold and some are not. There is nothing intuitive about that and no explanation to help clients know what that is about on the page. Perhaps if I dig around somewhere, there is an explanation.

So, I, too want to know how to get ALL keywords to appear on this page. I understand that there is a bug in the keyword system as stated in other threads. I decided I did not want a keyword list at the bottom of every page as implemented in the NEW SmugMug theme - especially since some are missing. By creating a separate page, I was able to add text stating all keywords are not shown and the user can go to the SEARCH option and enter what they want to see if I have it. Although there is a bug still there where it will not find all images with that word even though that word IS in the photo keyword list (different from the cloud keyword list). And now I am seeing there may be a preset limit of only showing a max of 1000 images equalling the keyword. That is simply BAD if true!!!!! I did a search and had a 1000 image response. Thought it was interesting that it was an exact 1000 - now I am not feeling good.

[ETA: This doesn't address Allen's problem] Trouper: See my reply to W. W. Webster (Post #9) in this thread: http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=237176 to understand the difference between the typical 255 -keyword page or block (like we had in Old Smug) and the page you can create (hopefully still, but I don't know) which has ALL of your keywords. (that page is /keyword instead of /keywords like hte 255-page.) About the search maxing at 1000, I know nothing. But as to your question about bold & not bold-- your most-used keywords show up bold. The larger, the more often you use them.

interestingly, /keyword shows less than the /keywords in my Preview. Simply adding the "s" actually gives me page not found. So, without the "s" is probably going to my legacy system which still has more than 20,000 images. Maybe in the legacy system I have not set it for the maximum. Makes my head swirl. Trying to keep everything now in the New System...so will continue to work on it there.

The legacy /keyword page shows all the public keywords on your site.

The NewSmug link /keyword, instead only shows a limited number of keywords, 255?. I guess SM is
choosing for you what it shows. When you click on a KW it goes to the KW gallery for that KW and
then a limit of 1000 photos show. So if you had more then 1000, only 1K, picked by SM, would show
in the gallery.

The keyword widget which you can add to any page is a box that limits to 255 keywords. That's
the same as the legacy site although don't remember the number.

Ok, Guess since I am into the New SM Preview, whatever I type when logged in goes to the NEW site. Still interesting that the /keyword shows 101 entries and clicking on "Keyword" in my menu system on the New Site shows many more than 101 (255 I guess). Still hoping SM will resolve this the way WE want it!

So you mean when you guys view that link where I saw many thousands of keywords (at /keyword) you don't see the same thing I see? I guess that's because you haven't hit the "Unveil" on your site, yet? So I still see the Legacy site. But you can still see your Legacy sites too, right? I'm just confused by why that link doesn't even take you to the same view that it takes me to. Or... would it if you were logged out? Weird.

/keyword is the same page on both legacy and NewSmug, they just limit the numbers on NewSmug.

Well, I just changed my NEW site to /keyword and after the first time trying to access it which gave me site not found, it now shows the SAME number of keywords as /keywords - go figure. Not ready to commit to unveiling yet!
