Ah right, if you add a Galleries block to the page and leave it at its default settings, it will only show the galleries that are contained in the folder you've added it to, which for a page or gallery will be none at all. You need to hit the wrench icon for the galleries block and tell it which galleries you want to show.
Absolutely need this! (the keyword "plant"-- I'd have many thousands.... I don't want SM choosing which plant photos to display when they limit search to 1000... that's my biz!)
Allow image pop when hovering a thumb on any page... gallery, folder, organize, or anywhere. Bring its caption & title (and / or filename if that's displayed) into the pop. When hovering over any icon or really any item on the page that could need further explanation, add hover info. (i.e. I was on a site yesterday with several social icons displayed that were so tiny that I could barely even identify the ones I knew!... so if you don't want to destroy the precious minimalist "look", fine, just offer the crucial info in a hover). The keyword HTML box I added to my search page brings up a search for all the keyworded photos, no
1000 limit. Each photo is clickable to the gallery it's in. I just added the same HTML box to my keyword
page but in this case I used /keyword/"keyword" links. These links bring up a gallery in Smugmug
style and each photo can be opened in lightbox, but has a 1000 limit. You can see the worthless new
default Smugmug limited 255 list below this new box.
I totally removed the /keyword page from my PREVIEW site as it IS so useless to me. Fine for some, but not for me! I built one based on Allen's design that works so well.

Per my last post, removing the /keyword page from my menu was really no help. As soon as you click a keyword underneath an image, it takes you right to the /keyword page - duhhhh. So, I modified the /keyword page to include the CSS method and wrote a description telling people to go to the ALL KEYWORDS page or click a GREEN keyword (not a grey or white one). Then I put a Menu item up called KEYWORD POOR PAGE. At least if they go there, they will understand what is happening. A poor thing for a professional site. Here is what that Poor page looks like if they land their after clicking a keyword under an image:
And this is the results page after typing in "Katrina" in the search box - or I could have gone down the green list and clicked on "Katrina" ( if there were 2000 images, it would have found 2000 images):
If you have more keywords then the 255 limit showing on the /keyword page and have not unveiled
go to the /keyword page on your legacy site and copy the list and save in a text file. If you unveil
you'll never see a list of all you keywords unless they fix this. Do it logged in and logged out.
One more post showing results over the 1000 limit - using "boat" as the keyword (the larger image is 'cause my cursor was on it which makes it bigger and adds the Caption at the bottom) :
What Allen just said is VERY IMPORTANT for legacy users!!!!!!!! Once you unveil, you can not get your full list anymore at this time. This is SO CRUCIAL I just had to say what Allen just said!

Under layout change from fixed to stretchy. Had this happen for the search pages also.
When I went stretchy, it made the scroll box go all the way across the page and didn't look real good. In the yellow text, I wound up using carriage returns (remember those! Hahahaha!) to align the text so it would not stretch across the page in stretchy. Then put back to fixed. I'll give it a look. Maybe I could crete two text blocks. Think you said you used html blocks instead of text blocks. Why (as in I have no idea!!!!!)? At least I figured out how to find the "sm-pages-text" thing for the needed number for the scrolling! Thinking, that what I have just might do ok for now until they fix it...of course not live yet. I try to lead them off that page - which no one is seeing yet anyway.
BTW, the Fixed vs Stretchy + the on/off of the line under that in layout seems to be a cause of the problem thumbs not showing all the thumbs especially after changing browser sizes in Chrome on Macs. Fixed-bad, Stretchy-good. Off-maybe bad, On or Yes-maybe good. Still having problems with thumbs not advancing pages, sometimes, when you go to the next page of thumbs - SmugMug Theme.
Thanks Allen...so, if I widen it, the thumbs will be more or bigger? I would turn stretchy back on and the line under stretchy to Yes? And your code changes of course. Ok, I did it and also added a little more height so more "real workable" keywords would show up vertically in the scroll box. Yes, this looks much better....for having to have this page at all! THANKS!
It's pretty funny (in a sick way) that the more I add images "captured" using GRAB on my Mac are showing up under Google Image Search (another SM issue in other threads) vs images from my SM website. Seems DGRIN has a better method of SEO than SmugMug! OUCH!

Forgot to mention, legacy did not allow dashes in keywords probably because they were used as
combiners, A-B. It looks like this is no longer applicable on NewSmug. So why not allow them now?
Maybe in the future after legacy is gone otherwise might affect legacy.

Could you explain what you mean by "they were used as combiners"? I sure don't mean that I don't believe you... I just mean I'm having trouble thinking of an example, so I can't think what you're referring to exactly. I just wanna know because I'm having to think hard about making galleries or what-have-you on Legacy. (what to call them, how to keyword them, etc. etc.)

When I do a keyword search on a keyword that is assigned to more then 1000 pictures, I only get 1000 results.

Looks like newest is first but some out of order.
