Let me know how that iTrip works. I am considering buying an FM Transmitter for my wife's iPod and am trying to narrow the choices down. From the reviews I've read, none of them are perfect, but I hear the iTrip is one of the better ones. How's it working for you?

I got a Sony WS-7....not a hot-shot model like some of you folks use...but it is an upgrade for me from the Sony P-72. Am reading up on it and hope to play with it in a few days.

Woah. Is that a new lens? I haven't seen it on their website. (edit: found.)

I wonder if it's a huge difference between that, and the Canon 17-35 f/2.8...

    94.5 - 56.8 degrees = 20mm to 40mm...
    103.7 - 63.4 degrees = 17mm to 35mm...

(of course, on digital it's x1.6, but hmm... 10 degrees of difference)

And here I was going to buy the 20mm f/1.8...

    If only Sigma/Tamron's 17-35 was f/2.8 constant.

I've only taken a dozen or so shots with it so far but the results are very good so far. A nice sharp image each time.

The more I think about it, the more I can't justify, as I have an 18-55, 28-75, 50, and 85...

So the next real logical step would be the 15mm f/2.8 perhaps...

Looks like everyone did real well this holiday season! I got the best gift of all... I got to spend Christmas with my family in Seattle iloveyou.gif . It was the first time myself and all 3 of my sisters have been together for Christmas in about 7 years. I enjoyed EVERY minute of it.

Hmm.... what else did I get? Slippers, slippers, and yet another pair of slippers.eek7.gif Seems that everyone thought my feet were cold. I also managed to catch some nasty cold, which I am not too thrilled about. My niece got me a cute little butterfly with a pendant that says "I love my Aunt".

Hubby did pretty good for me too. I got the Epson P2000 which I knew about, but had to wait to open and a Sony 17" LCD monitor that I have been drooling over.

Now all I want is a cure for this nasty sore throat and some ice cream! :D

Happy New Year everyone! Be safe and be healthy!thumb.gif
