Overall I like the new add to cart UI, nicely done!
I did notice one thing though... when I am in the process of selecting a product hovering over the size in paper prints or canvas shows cropping "lines", letting me know exactly what will be shown on the purchased print. Unfortunately that isn't true in Thin Wraps or Metal prints. It would be nice if the purchase process for these finishes matched that of paper / canvas prints.
That looks like Dolphin, a third-party browser. I'm not sure we'll make specific changes just for that small of an audience, to be honest. But I'll investigate when I get a chance.

Thanks for the feedback.
Yep, I figured that too. Dolphin 11.2.8 on a Samsung Galaxy S4.
Never came across a site that specifically didn't work in that browser. Guessing that figuring it out wouldn't be an easy task. I only use that browser because it's the only one I've found that will open pages at a reasonable zoom level. Every other browser opens zoomed all the way out. Why does anyone want to have to zoom in before they can read anything?
Here are some "real" customer comments I received from somebody trying to place an order today:
I've been having a horrible time navigating the site with my photo's and was not able to order anything. The page that I went to select a size only gave me the size and price so I didn't even know if I was ordering the right picture. I have been working at this for over an hour on my desktop which is sometimes slow so I thought I'd order the photos from my ipad but the portraits won't even download. I know it's been awhile but does the site need to be refreshed? Please contact me or let me know of another faster way of ordering the pictures.

Do you have a link to the photos the customer was trying to purchase? The new Add-to-Cart displays the selected photo nice and big, enabling the user to see exactly which photo is being purchased.
We even display the photo nice and large for mobile browsers too! cart_ss.jpg

I am not sure which browser, etc. Attempting to find out.
Lots and lots of people are ordering prints and such for the holidays right now. And with this not working with IE9 or earlier, I wonder if you should have waited until after the new year to make such a big change?

Is it possible they were using the Buy "Photos from this Gallery" option to select multiple photos? In that case, the selected images will be whichever they've clicked on.
The holidays was one of the driving factors for releasing the new add-to-cart now: it simplifies the process for holiday shoppers with the goal of making it easier for your customers and increasing your print sales. For users using modern browsers they will see an improved interface for purchasing your products.

For users on older browsers (including IE9 and earlier) they will still see the old add-to-cart interface to purchase prints. Nothing will have changed for them. You should still receive print sales from these customers.

That thought occurred to me as well so I did give her some instructions to try to prevent that from happening when she tries again.
I love the new (single photo) add to cart flow.
...and many thanks for fixing the issue noted here!
Are there any plans to change the multi-photo add to cart to match? After seeing the ease of changing products in the new flow the multi-photo add to cart flow feels quite painful.

Yes, we'd love to update the multi-photo add as well. We're going to work on the check-out process too
I think the real modernization would be for your new (great) interface to be called DIRECTLY from the Buy Button. I think the real problem is that first time or occasional shoppers don't realize they have to click twice to see the product options. They certainly aren't going to come to the support forum to find out they have to click down two levels to see it. (Especially since it isn't clear that there is anything to see)
Changing this so that just clicking the Buy button would lead directly to your new interface would be great!
I thought it was live already?? Or did some of us get a preview of it??
You are correct! It has been live for a few weeks now. With the recent blog post and emails I wanted to make sure I had also posted on dgrin for anyone who may have missed the other communications.

My price list is set to Bay Photo, and I was experimenting with this photo - http://www.denisegoldberg.com/Travel/Acadia-2014-10/Images-Autumn-Acadia-2014/i-w2RD7Kf/A.
I see the same behavior in IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
