I didn't see a thread for bokeh or soft backgrounds so I'll start off with this one.

Pentax K-1 and SMC Pentax-A 50mm f/1.7 @ f/2 with the setting sun in the BG.

I don't have any recent pretty flowers or wildlife... but I did recently shoot this softball pic with the beautiful green trees in the bg nicely oof.....(*not my kid... i'm shooting for an entire league...)

I did recall one of my Wagon Train trips from 2011 where I "focused" () on wildflowers on the trail... usually used my 50/2 for these.....

Here are a few garden shots with bokeh from this past week. Photos were all taken with a Fuji X-T1. The first two used an XF60mm macro lens and the 2nd two used an XF18-135mm lens.

I tried some of this style when I traveled to England. I carried a small 50mm, f1.4 lens in my pocket and would toss it on the camera when the spirit struck me.
