How to set the breadcrumb for different folder?
Hi,
My structure like this:
Home Page
-----------------My Parent Folder
-------------------------------------------Gallery 1
-------------------------------------------Gallery 2
-------------------------------------------Gallery ....
-----------------My Sister Folder
-------------------------------------------Gallery 1
-------------------------------------------Gallery 2
-------------------------------------------Gallery ....
-----------------My Workmates Folder
-------------------------------------------Gallery 1
-------------------------------------------Gallery 2
-------------------------------------------Gallery ....
If I want to share the Workmates folder to my wokmates, I dont want to they can go to the homepage by the breadcrumb, just want to limit the link to My Workmates Folder. At the same time, I also want my sister just limit to My Sister Folder by the breadcrumb.
The default top level is Home Page for all breadcrumb.
Is there any way to make it ?
I have searched the forum and find some threads looks like my problem, such as https://dgrin.com/discussion/comment/2113292#Comment_2113292 and https://dgrin.com/discussion/comment/1926407#Comment_1926407 , but still not get the solution.
Thanks

As far as I know the breadcrumb can't be altered in this way.
Have you considered using the private sharing option?

Another option is to create a page for each top-level set of galleries. You can then make the galleries unlisted but explicitly include them on the page. You will need to remove the breadcrumb from the galleries in order to remove references to the overall structure of your folders & galleries.

You can verify my assumption above by contacting the help desk.

Hi, denisegoldberg:
Thanks for your support, I will try it.
If the gallery structure is deep and more, like:
ABC foler:
---------------Folder of 2020
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity xxx
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity yyy
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity zzz
---------------Folder of 2021
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity xxx
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity yyy
-------------------------------------Gallery of activity zzz
.....
That will make huge work to customize every folder and gallery pages, and when someone is visiting some gallery he is hard to go back without breadcrumb navigation.
So if I just add a Botton with funtion "Go Back" and when someone click it, it just back to previous level, like browser's Go back function, that will much reduce the workload.
Is it possible to make it?
I tried but the botton has to be define a link to go to. Or maybe some kind html code can make it?
