Paris Landing, Tennessee in southeastern United States: An old bridge segment saved and replaced many years ago with a newer wider bridge over the Tennessee River.
Foresthill Bridge - Highest bridge in California at 730 feet above the North fork of the American River. A bridge that I have to cross to get to civilization!
And another model RR bridge. This was at the Nicholas Conservatory in Rockford, Illinois for a holiday exhibit. The layout was quite extensive, yet temporary.

I have a lot of bridge photos - I decided to start out with the Francis Scott Key Bridge which has been in the news recently because it was knocked down by a freighter. I have gone over and under this bridge quite often.
The first photos were when I went under in our sailboat in 1998 when I was still taking film photos.
and then coming out of the harbor the next day. The thing in the edge of the photo is our dinghy
Looking back towards Baltimore
.
This photo shows the FSK buoy which is next to the bridge. It marks the place where the ship Francis Scott Key was anchored during the bombardment of Fort McHenry which inspired him to write the Star Spangled Banner
Then we went under the bridge on a cruise ship.
The frist picture is of one end the traffic over the bridge
The lack of protective bumpers around the bridge supports was one of the problems cited
And here is the Coast Guard patrol boat heading back to the harbor

Charles Bridge, in Prague. Finished in the early 1400's, and lined with a few dozen statues of saints. We're looking west from one of the guard towers. In the background to the right is the Prague Castle complex, dominated by the gorgeous St. Vitus Cathedral
