Mini Challenge #363 -- Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
I tried to think of a holiday theme that hasn't been done before (or at least in a while) and kept drawing a blank. So I decided to go with maybe the ways we get home for the holidays and came up with the title. To me this can be anything plane, train, or automobile related. Actually, it can be any mode of transportation that one might use to visit family or friends. Pictures of a plane. The selfie with your friend or family on the plane. Old cars. New cars. People in cars. Cool Train shots. People in trains. Maybe even Motorcycles. I think you get the idea. I'm not sure I have enough examples of what I'm thinking about, so use your imagination.
I don't want anyone to get stressed over the holidays trying to find your images to enter (and I do want lots of entries!) so I'm going to let this mini run through New Year's and end at 6:00 pm Central Time on Sunday, January 14. I hope 3.5 weeks is enough time for everyone. I want everyone to have a wonderful Christmas, Hannukah, Kwanzaa, or whatever you celebrate and a fantastic beginning of a New Year.

Fun theme, Sherry! You were very quick.
Trains - Train yard in Berlin
Automobiles - 1964 when we drove two cars from Monterey California to Key West Florida. This is my photo from the VW bus which I was driving with my two kids and my mom of the 1932 Plymouth that my husband was driving ahead of me with my dad riding shotgun
Planes. My husband flew anti-submarine planes off an aircraft carrier. This is a partly done needlepoint from a photo of the ASW plane coming in for a landing.
Love the topic!

The classic 1939 Buick has beautiful paint! So nice and reflective that I can see the refection of a white pasture fence on the door. Looks like there is a horse in the pasture. The reflection on the wheel shows a white fence and possibly the corner of a barn.
Awesome entries so far! Still plenty of time for others to enter, so pass the word.
Happy New Year,
Sherry P.

Not actually my favorite subject, but I do have a few... And variety in challenge themes is a good thing!

Finally found a couple of photos that might work for this. The pick up truck belongs to my son-in-law and did ferry family to our home over the holidays.
