sometimes I like to post pics from previous trips, events. etc etc. digital pics are already aging. posting them is kind of like setting them free again. to fly like a bird. god it sounds like a lifetime tv movie.

I really don't like Katie Couric, I think that girl should just shut her yap. and thats putting it nicely.

a boring picture of my bike on red dirt in Utah from 2004. loaded for bear but I didn't see any.

but the previous picture gets a little more intersting when you, me, or even rabia stops to consider its in Monument Valley. Which is run by american indians by the way.

I'd like to go back there, they had a camping area, I thought, my god, its like camping in the middle of nowhere. who would camp here?

but when you think about it, I'll bet its a pretty cool place to walk around at dusk, maybe a nice cooler full of brews, a cigar. just watch out for the damn snakes would be the only worry. I hate snakes.

this ended up being the best shot of the day in my opinion. but you really need to open it up on original to get the full effect.

the grand canyon is a great place to pause and reflect. something that jerk Bono might want ot do more often before he starts running his stupid yap about how we should spend our tax dollars. bono is equally as pathetic as katie couric.

Very nice series of images, Amadeus.

Whatever made you think that red dirt roads are boring??

They're one of the best kind, along with gravel, brown dirt and black dirt and sandy roads!!:):

i love those shots of monument valley. i have actually taken several trips to the area, but none recently. i was going through some of my photos and feeling sad that i might not ever have the opportunity to go there again. that area of the country just calls to me somehow, and the deep red landscapes are part of it.

I have been there, I am sure. A major nice place to be! (And no one here thinks I have ever been anywhere but the low country of SC). We had a family reunion in the early 80s, it was outside of Durango and my brother had a 4 wheel drive thing. As a matter of fact I actually took photographs there.

That is a nice photograph! If you can I would photoshop it at the top of the mtns so there is more delineation from the sky. Most of the rest of the photograph is so good, the strong foreground interest all the way half way up the mtns. Then the mtns fall away! Someone knows how to do it, I am sure and can help you.

It is such gorgeous country! You look like you had nice wheels!.

    a bicycle? no freaking way.

we passed bicyclists going up Mt. Evans in Colorado. tallest paved road in north america. 14,200 feet. taller than pikes peak.

god made the motorcycle so man wouldn't have to pedal anymore.
