    just did that
And now it works fine. Whew. I love camino so even though smugmug doesn't support it, I'm glad it works. Also, it sped up the speed the type appears here on dgrin. Who would have thought software updates were so important? Oh yeah, you guys keep telling us that...

You can open the -O in a new window or tab, yes?

On the page (with scroll bars):

Right click and you can look at this:

Ick. Yes, I suppose if the gallery isn't protected to disallow links without a referer like that then it will work. Actually, the browser would have it in cache, from loading with a legit referal, so I suppose it would still work even then. But ick... what a hack. :puke1

(wonderfull test image btw, I particularly like the two light sabers. :D )

Am I in the wrong thread or are Linux users just out of luck with the recent changes? Clicking on any photo in any of my galleries is still crashing my browser instantly.

Reading the last page it seems there have been some changes to Lightbox lately.

Can someone please check out this bug and see if there is a fix?

I use Linux almost exclusively. At work I run Red Hat Enterprise Workstation version 4. At home I run Debian testing. On both systems I use both Mozilla and Firefox but primarily Mozilla.

Until recently, Lightbox worked fine in all four of these combinations. Today at work, Lightbox crashed my browser (browser completely died, instantly) when I opened any picture in it. This happened for both Mozilla and Firefox.

Tonight, same thing happens at home on my Debian computer when I click on any picture in my galleries. Seems to be something newly different about Lightbox and its causing Linux browser crashes for various Linux OSs.

The last time I used Lightbox, my picture size was most likely O/Original. Perhaps something about the new scroll bars is causing the browser crash for Linux browsers?

Thanks for the status and the links. Just wanted to make sure it was on someone's radar screen. See that it is now.

If you need any help testing fixes, or if there is any way I can help troubleshoot, let me know. I can try both Mozilla and Firefox within Linux.
