Now I "know" it's just a bad dream. Andy and HarryB both switching is more than anyone's reality. (Could be "The Matrix" however?)ne_nau.gif

I don't know why everyone assumes that one would have to switch??? I know that if I had the money I would be shooting with a D2x and a 5d with supporting glass for both. Some of these people have been photographers for so long that their glass collection is huge. Why bother selling it all. Simply start building up with the other brand. I know that for some situations the D2x is simply unmatched. For example: the D2x with a 500mm f4 = a 750mmf4 or at 6mp (2x mode) 1000mm f4. Uhmmm.....wow! Then of course we have the high ISO advantage of the canons.

Would the world stop spinning if some of the pro's bought into both camps and had the best of both worlds??? Personally, I'd love to get into medium format/full-frame camera's.

The brand is only a means to an end.
