I know, I know, running water and long exposure together are nothing new, but hey, I gotta try it, too:-)
30 sec exposure meet the rules, but does it also look nice?:scratch

I also think it needs some cropping:-)
Thanks for looking and commenting!
I agree about a different crop. Definitely ditch the observation platform... Maybe try and bring out the greens just a touch more.

Lighting was pretty low (late afternoon, gloomy day, canyon), which was just perfect for the effect:-). yes, it was an 3.0 ND filter (x1000). That's the only one I currently own, but I'm considering getting one less drastic - this one looks like a totally dark piece of glass, and it's a major pain to (re-)compose and focus..
Thanks! If I decided to submit this one I will definitely re-crop it and put some extra work on it, too. Today I barely touched it...
Cheers!
Appreciate the feedback, muchas gracias, amigo!

I was very pleased when I first saw it 5 years ago:-)
I will get rid of the distraction, I promise!:):

I love the waterfall, especially where it hits the pool of water.
I hope I will be able to "pop" it:-)

will do:-)
I'm still contemplating a few other ideas for the challenge, but I work on this image anyway, I think it has some potential. Besides, carrying the tripod for a mile and back plus jumping from stone to stone over the creek while holding several grand of fragile optics, mechanics and electronics in hands plain deserve some extra PS work :
Cheers, partner!

It's is a strong shot, I agree about the cropping, the rocks on either side of the falls almost draw my eye away from the moving water
