My experimenting with this lens on a Canon 5D continues and I'm more and more impressed. At the moment I'm comparing it with the Tamron SP 24-135 f/3.5-5.6. The Canon 28-105 f/3.5-4.5 is sharper with faster and more accurate focusing. Since I'm reluctant to invest $1200 for a lens at this range, this Canon may be a keeper. I was amazed you didn't find a taker on E-Bay. This lens definitely deserves more attention than it is receiving. Good luck with your sale.
