Scarry Blur
OK, so I couldn't get my subject to hold still and I was running out of air...just kidding...taken at Monterey Bay Aquarium, Monterey, California on July 9,2006.
Geometry in Motion
This is my first ever contest entry, and my official delurk post for dgrin. I had hoped to post several photos I was contemplating for this contest, but I simply ran out of time so I just went with the one I liked the most.
I call this photo "Geometry in Motion".

OK. I've spent entirely too much time on getting this shot. 8 hours yesterday (it rained) and another 45 minutes in the sun this morning. My vision was a drop of water suspended in mid air with the flower focused inside it. While I keep getting closer to controlling all the variables, this is the shot that comes closest to what I wanted, but just misses the mark.
