Just got back from looking around the Moab, Utah area. Wow is it cool there! Here are a few of my fav IR pics from the trip. Hopefully they're not too big...
Taken with MaxMax converted Rebel XT + 10-22mm or 24-105mm.
Enjoy!

Welcome to dgrin.
I particularly like the 2nd image. The high contrast of the yucca against the sky and background is quite striking.
Would you mind describing the post processing steps you used on your IR images from the converted Rebel. With special discussion about the color propcessing of the RAW image. These were shot in RAW weren't they??
I shoot IR with a 300D conversion, but usually process them to B&W versus the color images you posted here; so I am interested in the color processing, as I am sure other viewer's are also.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Okay, I have no idea about IR. Do you convert a camera to do IR and if so is that all it will do? Or do some cameras have it as a function?
Please clue me in.

Okay, point taken. I read that posting about people asking too many questions.
Thanks for the links. They answered everything including it is not in my budget!

I'm a HUGE IR fan - I take 'em as much as I can...but I'm still saving up for the Maxmax conversion on my F717...the appliances keep needing attention from that thingy in my back pocket...
Thanks for posting those beauties!

All are shot in RAW. It's almost criminal how simple the post technique is...I'll tell what I do toward the end of this thread...
