I've been lurking for some time now, but since I've had cellulitis, I finally thought it was time to chime in. Mine was just a tiny puncture on one of my fingers that turned into cellulitis, then lymphangitis (the red rash). Boy, you wanna see some medical folks running around squawking when they see that! So, I share your pain, and am certain that they've shot you full of antibiotics. They made me wear a sling (and this was just a little ouwie on the finger before it went ballistic) - so if you gotta keep the leg elevated, keep it elevated! It does go from bad to worse fast.
Also wanted to tell you & so many other folks here how much I admire your work & how much you inspire me to improve my own - I ordered the Ron Reznick dvd's which are great, and have gotten much artistic and technical info from these forums as well. I've only commented on peoples' posts a couple of times, but that doesn't mean I don't admire their work - I'm a lurker by nature, so don't often say much. I've been trying to get some really clean crisp bird shots and it's SO hard to get the quality that we so often see here!
So your enforced convalescence will give you the time to process some more shots for our enjoyment.
Get well soon,
Katy
P.S. Love the ducks.
Hiya Katy,
If it took me gettiing cellulitis to get you to delurk its almost worth it. Just don't know what I'll do as a follow-up though.
I'm slowly recovering and dosing myself with meds at every chance. My post work will have to wait until I can get to my desktop PC.
I'm thrilled to hear that you are getting stuff from Ron's DVDs. His teachings are what really improved my own photography.
Thanks very much for your kind words they are a needed lift to my spirits.

I intend never to get cellulitis again Skippy. Its just no fun. On my 8th day of bed "rest" and I have a terminal case of cabin fever. I hope tomorrow's visit with the doc gets me my parole. I need to have a camera in my hands again.
Thanks for the good wishes.
