    Hello
This is my entry for three - I captured it this afternoon on the way home from work.

    Hope it is suitable

I was thinking about this assignment a bit trying to come up with something, and I kept coming back to number keys. The problem is I couldn't figure out how to get "focus" on just three keys. Then I remembered having some old keyboards that I could pop the keys off of and not worry about it. Once I got the keys off I realized that they were clear...so then I figured out how I could light them from behind. :)

    1) great shot!
    2) if you crop it - sure, otherwise I can help noticing all the other birds... ne_nau.gif

    1) Thanks! They were a handful.

    2) Already a crop, any more and everything will get fuzzy beyond control. I figured it was borderline, but looked at the past posts... I'll do better next time. headscratch.gif

Posted elsewhere, but I thought it'd also be good for this assignment.

I think if you crop it tighter it would be a better representation of the Concept Of Three!mwink.gif

Same as "one". Need a concept, not a literal interpretation.

    Hi Nik!
    Thank you! Nice entry! thumb.gif
A bit of C&C for you (and I still owe you a big one on your Ophelia post:-):
    1) WB is off, unless you meant to have a bluish cast to match the flags
    2) One of the things when using a window lighting is NOT to include the window in the frame, at least by much...

I meant for it to be blue! I like windows though. They offer a geometric dynamic to a picture... but I hear you. I was also trying new things... I had them up on a chair first and then in the hall and then on a rail. The window fit the best, particularly that one. They saw a lot of windows that day. The stupid red calvary buildings kept being in the background though.
I should have taken them to the relflection pool. I'll try it next time I'm trapped by a flood.

I'm pretty new to this. I was practicing my night shooting, and came up with this capture. Light source with three visible housing support beams. Not much of a picture, but I hope it fits the assignment...

Well, to be honest, it's a bit of a stretch. We need a bolder concept of a three. Think billboard on a side of a buyse highway for a company that is interested in threes. A driver has less than a second to look at your picture and figure out what it is and if s/he is interested in that at all. It tok me about 30 seconds and your entire post to figure what it is and why it's even relevant... ne_nau.gif

Yyeah... I can read, what I didn't see was if it was or wasn't a competition in the sense of the contests. It says it isn't a competition but then someone wins "Hot Shot" of the week.
    ne_nau.gif It's a non competitive competition???headscratch.gif

That and I try to be very polite, some people, not so much. Flaming on the internatz is like removing your anus. You can take it from there.
