That was probably Chris MacAskill. We were in contact through e-mail and he said he's not sure what the problem is yet either. I just made a new gallery and uploaded a file with no error. Looks like it's fine at least for now. Thanks for the help. I hope you guys can figure out what went wrong.

I was able to add photos to your new gallery without any problems and it looks like the last 12 images you added didn't have any problems either. This is a very elusive bug and I'll keep working on it!
I haven't heard back from Chris, but it's a Sunday so I'm not complaining.
I hope you guys don't mind. I've made a second account (http://danzeth.smugmug.com) to see if I run into the same problem again. So far so good, so I don't think my image files are the problem. I'm gonna gradually make all the settings and customizations the same as http://dkwan.smugmug.com to see if the problem shows up again.
If I don't run into any problems on the second account, I guess I'll use that and cancel the first one.

I'm glad there doesn't seem to be any problem with your new account. I'm confident that your customization didn't cause the problems we were seeing, so feel free to use the same customization for the new account.
Please keep your old account open (don't cancel it... let the free trial expire) so I can keep playing with it and discover the problem. However, we can change your nickname so that your new account lives at dkwan.smugmug.com, and your old account lives at something like fixmeanne.smugmug.com .
If you decide to stay on with SmugMug, email the help desk ATTN: Anne and I'll hook you up with a couple referral credits ($10 each towards renewal) as a "thank you" for helping us troubleshoot this problem!
