Ginger: Its harder than it looks!
We just moved to Florida, so the local wildlife is different. My first few attempts at birds.
Ginger: I have new respect for your great images, its harder than it looks!

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.

Florida will provide you with a wealth of wildlife shots. The two egret shots are a tad overexposed. Her's a thread with some good info on exposing for those white birds http://dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=26500. Also check out the tips and resources sticky on top of this page.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
HB:
Thanks for the tips. I just got a new lens on Friday (Canon 70-200 f4L) and I am trying to learn how to use it. I got some pretty good shots at my sons Friday night football game, and these arent bad for the first few shots.
I think the first one is pretty good. It doesnt look so blown out kn my computer. I will try the tips, they make a lot of sense.
I see you are organizing a shooting get together this winter - if I can I will drive over and get to meet some fellow dgrinners.
