    Any queue ETA?

Hi Scoo - the images should process. It's going to take longer, and we're sorry about that. Our engineers are working round the clock to fix and improve things. Right here's the place, On Dgrin, where you'll find the latest status.

    Thanks!
Andy, do you have any idea how long it will take to process images? I uploaded a gallery of my wife's pics about 90 minutes ago from a weekend event and she was hoping to send out a link tonight. But, due to the slow-down they are all still awaiting processing. I know there are issues you all are working on, but the boss would just like an ETA if you have any idea? Do you know how long it's generally taking for things to get through the queue?

The queue is big. I couldn't say, I'm sorry. The guys are working as hard as possible to provide some relief.

Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.

    About 2-1/2 hrs...

The gallery just came through. For anyone else who's interested, mine took about 2-1/2 hrs. If you have patience, they will finish.

Fortunately, I've been able to use Replace Photo on some previously uploaded dummy photos in order to get a few forum postings up tonight.

hello, I was just wondering if you guys were still working on smugmug....?
I uploaded a bunch of images yestereday and now working on that gallery which now has 50 images it takes forever to load or if I try to do the bulk zoom it does not work. The bulk zoom only shows half of he image when it is done processing.

just adding whats wierd is that if I login to view that gallery it loads right away but I dont login in and view that gallery it takes forever to load

the bulk zoom still does not work not matter what.

    Hi Ryan,

I'd suggest reuploading those 6 images. Then you should be fine. Sorry for the hassle!

Honestly I like, and I can put up with a lot of problems with honest answers.

In this case, suggesting I use a different uploader only caused me unnecessary grief.

    Hello Art,
Ouch, I'm sorry you are upset. And I understand why. We try really hard at the help desk to give correct, quick, straight-up help - sometimes, we don't yet have the complete info when we reply, and we use some tried and true alternatives - in this case you were told to use a different uploader, well, yeah, that wasn't the problem - but when we answered, we didn't know, as the engineers hadn't nailed the problem down.

We're sorry about that, and hope that everything is ok now.

This doesn't appear to be a problem with your photos. They're fine.

It seems to be a problem with the fact that you have protection enabled. If you disable it, the thumbnails show up fine.

It could possibly be some bug in your customization or something, I'm not sure.

Andy, can you please research this a bit more and figure it out? If it's our bug, we need to take care of it ASAP.

    Don

Ryan, if you don't mind, can you NOT do what I said - let me ask our engineers to look specifically into this, and see what we can figure out.

    Similar issue here
wow thanks guys looks like that gallery is loading and working now. Just one image is not showing the thumbnail but I guess I can just replace that one image.

FWIW, I had one image last night that stopped showing a thumbnail after I did a color correction on it. It just showed a very tiny little dot (perhaps 2x2 pixels). After waiting 4 hours, I reuploaded using Replace Photo because the gallery had already been announced to viewers and I needed it fixed. I don't know if that was the same issue or not.

    Are there still problems?
I can't get my gallery to load at all.
    http://heartsfire.smugmug.com

Could someone please check and see if they can pull it. Might be me, but I can get Dgrin and other webpages just fine.

    Thanks,
    Dana

Got it but it took forever to load. My site is exceedingly slow too. Looks like might be issues again.

Hmmm... I'm surfing it fine and don't see a slowdown. Anyone else? ne_nau.gif

Surfing seems slow but ok. When I upload a photo and try to get back to the page where it should be, it stalls and finally will return after a long delay. It was fine this afternoon but really started to slow about an hour ago (at least for me).

I'll check back in a few minutes
