Gus you rock! Those are some of the best Live act shots I've seen in a long time. and I know what you mena about the Peter G shot, beautiful b/w with plenty of contrast and the perfect pose. well captured! It would make a perfect transfer to a large canvas.
I only have 2 gigs atm (& one of them is dodgy) & waxy has just kindly bought me 8 gigs from that mob you recommended. I shoot this sort of stuff jpeg so that will give me about 2600 shots...+ i always have my little HD and its good for about 2000 shots with the 2 batterys.
I have just sold some more motorobike racing shots so i may pick up another 4 gig.
Sound like your getting close to having enuff memory....Hope you get the gig.
Outstanding set Gus. You a brave rman than me. I would never take my gear into such an event. Its safer in the swamp.

Great set of images, Gus. Just one after another. Very nicely captured.
I particularly liked the consistency of your white balance. You said you shot jpgs?? Did you just set your camera for Tungsten, or did you make other alterations for your white balance?
I'm with Harry. I'd feel much safer in the swamp, and I KNOW my ears would thank me for being in the swamp.
Measure the sound volume some time with a dB meter - I'll bet you're way past 115dB in front of the stage in front of their speakers. Truly deafening.
The good news is that a publisher just rang me today & my work is their front cover & going to press tomorrow night. Now it aint exactly the Rolling Stone magazine but it will do me to get my foot in the door else where.
Hi Gus.
Wow looks like you had fun...I'd LOVE to have gone.
When I saw your Peter Garret shot "Short Memory" started going over in my head. I loved your shots of The Butterfly Effect and Tim Rogers from You Am I as well.
I was lucky enough to see Resin Dogs a couple of years ago and really loved them.
Love Midnight Oil!
Just to see em live woulda been da bomb for me!
Had to of been tough getting good shots with the crowd bopp'in around!
Amazing how a $70 lens does so well eh?

Great set Gus
The PG shots are my favourite, but I actually like the shots of the lead singer of You Am I as well.
