Assignment #19: Holidays

Our guesswork turned out to be a pleasant surprise! It was a slow start but the latest entries made the waiting worth while:-)
Given the time of year I think it's only logical to suggest the new subject to be seasonal: let's capture the holidays, the festivities, the spirit...
The big difference - this assignment is gonna last all the way until January 2007. This will give us time to cover whatever holiday is celebrated in your particular place of dwelling, as well as catch up on this year's prior subjects (Word of advice: I *may* come out with some "report cards", so if you did miss some classes you may want actually to catch up :wink :deal ) and, if nothing else, simply relax a little: consider it a school break for our little photography school.
Another difference: PS as you wish, no bars hold. It's the result that is important. However, fresh images should be used to start for compositing.
For the rest of the basic rules and index please check out this sticky.
Have a great holidays season! :thumb

So, Antonio, pardonnez-moi, this is a holiday spirit?
In Europe, "holiday" means vacation. Maybe that's what he was going for.
(Still reading, just haven't had time to *do* anything lately...)
Thanks for pitching in!
Maybe you're right :-)
In this case: I meant specifically "New Year/Noel/Hanukkah/Christmas/etc." type of holidays..
Ah!... There we are !...
OK I'll try now.
Gingerbread House! We had some friends over to make these masterpieces...this little one was very proud!
Comments and constructive critique always welcome!

Ah, these are wonderful! They remind me of scenes from the movie "Home Alone" for some reason...that little gazebo in the park where Santa was, and the neighborhood of white colonials sparkling for the season.
Nice work!!!

Nice festive shots!
Each year my company adopts a family and gets employees to chip in and buy items that the family is in need of. Today we made the delivery to a very needy family.
Loaded to the roof
All the way to the back
Get a 2nd vehicle
Company elf's delivering some appliances
Some happy kids
The delivery crew - minus me.
Not the greatest pictures but I thought they fit the challenge.
