Having seen some of the great shots coming from Florida, I want to say congratulations to you all down there, but our small group, which we hope will grow for the next shoot, also had a wonderful time at the Salton Sea. A great place to shoot. Your photos are fantastic Joel, but I hate to say those cruel words.......you should have stayed just one more day. Here's lookin at you kid. :ivar :ivar

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

See, now THAT's why I posted first. There's simply no follow-on to a set like this. Just wonderful images, William.

Thanks Harry we all had a good time. Hope the shoot went well for all you guy, and from what I'm seeing it did, so I'll bet you're in for a little well deserved rest now.

Don't you dare stop posting those great pictures, you give me way to much credit. It was Russ who found the owl, and I can't wait to see his images, besides I had to take the Falcon out of storage just for you.

It was sofware problem caused by my laptop, so I was able to download everything to my desktop when I got home. Unfortunetly, the laptop is now history and that's why I had already bought the new computer.

Don't throw it away. It's nothing that a complete scrub and reload of Windows, etc, wouldn't cure. It would still make a great travel set up.

Thanks Skippy, it was a stunning sight to see so many pelicans at once. A man we talked with said it was one of the largest concentrations of pelicans in North America during mirgration season with a total of 20,000 birds. We estimated seeing a few thousand in the area where we were.
