How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I always enjoy your humor and the quality of your shots.
Don't let any of these bozos tell you they don't Luv Your Birds 'cuz they secretly wish they needed a caddy like yours to carry around those beautiful lenses!

I got 2 more months of snow to go through before I see an Egret.
12 inches over the past weekend, 8-18 inches on the way.

Boy are you lacking that good ole egret fest spirit. I did say that old and favorite egret shots were cool.
I don't blame you though, If I had to live in Minnesota I would be a tad testy too.

Thanks Mike, everybody loves birds. They fall into two categories, those who know they like them and those who haven't realized that they like them yet. :lol4

I said, new pics, old pics and favorite pics. Geez, that's not so hard. If we only did new pics our friends up north would be left out and EGRET FEST is for everyone, no matter how geographically disadvantaged they are.

They are such pretty birds Harry, always look well groomed and you always seem to catch great shots of them.
The ones with a catch in their mouths are my favourites in your many posts.... thanks for sharing........ Skippy

While I continue to dream of one day getting an egret or heron shot that is half as good as many I see here.... I'll post a couple I've taken in the last couple of weeks..
This guy was watching the sunset.
A couple of weeks ago, he got tired of me pointing the camera his way and headed up to the top of this old restaurant..
And this weekend, I caught this heron while down at the small craft harbor at home..

I missed that part about "old and favorite". Probably due to the white out conditions.
You ain't tough enough to live here.:D

Excellent contribution to the fest Joe. Egrets have no fear when it comes to food.

Nice capture of a cattle egret. They do hang out at strange places for an egret.
