Hi, Steve. Eventhough I'm not a fan of B&W photos I must say that this is one of the few ones that I really like, to the point that I'm thinking about doing some B&W conversions myself. The lighting and the dynamic range make your photo very pleasing.thumb.gif

Thank you very much, kind sir. You're such a master of color and saturation that I'd almost be sad to see your images in Black and White, but on the other hand, your images are so well composed, focused, and dynamic that they will lend themselves wonderfully to B&W. I can't wait to see the results.

I must have shot this in RAW, so I don't see why not. I'll check when I get home, and if I can create a color image, I'll post to this thread. Thanks for the look and nice comment.

Ahhh... took me a second to figure that one out. You'll see a bunch of us that refer to ourselves as former or current FMers. That means we belong to another forum, Fred Miranda, as well, and a pile of us have recently discovered DGrin / SmugMug for assorted reasons.

Thanks for the nice comment on my photo and the welcome as well.

You're not going to get any arguments from me on any of these points. The people here have been fantastic, and the amount of support and education that's available is staggering. It's a very cool community indeed.

Thanks for the look and comments on my image as well. I'm glad you liked it.
