I wish I knew where to start, Harry... I haven't been here that long, but I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that this is your best post yet (that I've had the pleasure to view) Top shelf throughout! I love the storks! They look like old buddies sharing a story over drinks! And the opening shot has "Zoinks!" written all over it! Stellar post!

    Hey Tom,

The afternoon light is by far the best. They let the photographers stay until 7 PM (2 hours after the park closing time) to shoot. I will be going back there Thursday to shoot in the PM and I'm staying over and will shoot in the morning light on Friday.

So far I haven't thought about the contest yet. None of my shots really stand out as contest material to me yet.

Thanks for the info Harry. I won't make it down again this week, but hope to get down at least one more time. I'll be sure and check out the evening light next time.
    Thomas :D

Well its a two hour drive from my place and you were down in late February and the birds don't start nesting until the end of March.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    Very nice set, Harry.thumb.gif

I just gotta come down there to shoot the rookery sometime. clap.gif

Getting closeups like that must just be so exciting.

Thanks PF. It is exciting to be close to everything in the rookery. The rookery is active from late March through mid June so anytime you and Nightingale want to come on down we will have a room for y'all.

Thanks for the kind words Stephen. The woodstorks make for great subjects.
