Very nice. I agree about the tough choice. But I have a question. Did you
take Andy and I there?
No Ian, we were in the general area a couple of times but we never went there. I try to not take Andy to places I want to go back to in the future. :lol4

Wow, I thought I had already posted in here. Just shows I am getting too old and absent-minded already. Anyhow, fantastic shots of those spoonbills. I like the action shots of course but that one with the two spoonbills on the very tranquil water evokes tranquility to me! Great pic.
Having just spent two days in harsh sunlight both days, let me say how more impressed I am that you can capture these birds so well. All of my shots come out way too hot! And there was only one spoonbill doing much of anything the whole two days!
Outstanding comps there, Harry. Love those spoonbills and I'm sure they're not an easy exposure. Sounds like you had a great day. Why the frowny face?

The spoonies can be a pain to expose for in harsh light but the light was real sweet that day so it was not a problem. The frowny face was because it was a really long day. :rutt Thanks for the kind words.

Love your spoonbill shots, especially the first one. I am totally new here so will be posting an image soon
Thank you very much. The first time I saw a spoonbill I thought it was a flamingo. Welcome to Dgrin

Oh and yes, the shuttle shots are fantastic!
Thanks Stephen. I think that first shot is the strongest of the set. I had very sweet light for these shots. You can't get a good shot of a spoonbill in harsh light. It washes out a lot of their color. Spoonies are best shot in the early AM or late in the afternoon.
