I keep working on this, then putting it away, then working on it again and then putting it away...
Schmoo, if you don't mind input you might consider duplicating the image on a new layer, increasing the contrast on the new layer, masking it all out and then painting in the leaves turning near the center of the frame to give them a little more pop. Just an idea.

That is definitely an idea. I have about 7 layers on this image with different masks, trying to bring out contrast and color in various parts of the image. If I get a chance and remember I might set this one up under Technique to get some more detailed input like yours!
This picture is some months old. Hope it counts.:D
No special equipment.
Just the "poor" 350 D and the lens I can't remember but it was with the 16-35 or the 24-70.
I think it was with the first lens as I was shooting with the other lens on the 20D.
Aperture: f/22.
Piece of cake

Don't forget, though, that shooting at f/22 often softens focus due to diffraction. Just a tip.

Taken along I70 in Colorado.
(Thanks to the guys at Rocky Mountain Harley that washed the bike when they installed a new tire)

I want to try again later with much more care. Shot today, some minutes ago.

Who said that "Muench stars" are only for great and expensive cameras and lens ?
The 3 point star...:D
Here are a few of mine (and here I thought all this time I was the only one dumb enough to shoot straight into the sun! )
