Look my very first post! What an incredible time I had. Yes, the location was great, the food was great (what they had left of it), our room was great (shh-hh), the critiques and photoshop help were great but for me the BEST part were all of you!! It was the smugmuggers that made the trip for me. I already miss all of you!!

Nik, you did such a great job with posting all of the people shots. I really don't have that much to add that would not be a repeat. But here are a few shots that are my favorites for various reasons.

Here is one for you Nik...
    206110089-M.jpg

    Fellow SmugMuggers...
    206110047-M.jpg

Kate & DaveV being way to cute together...
    206110255-M.jpg

I just really liked the two split directions of these
    smugmuggers...
    206110129-M.jpg

This is of Tony and April on our last sunrise...
    206110341-M.jpg

Doesn't Nick look like he should be photographing
for National Geographic??? We might be saying
    someday, "We knew him when..."
    206110433-M.jpg

And April has one of the most beautiful smiles...
    206110326-M.jpg

Take care all and can't wait to post more next year!!

Great images Sharon. I looked at them on your site because they are not showing up here. You need to turn on External Links in that gallery. I had a lot of fun shooting with you and Jack. I'm looking forward to seeing you again next year.

09: TonyD sharing the joy with April

    205062710-M.jpg

Actually, he wasn't sharing his joy.

He was laughing at me. Really laughing at me. rolleyes1.gif

We were at Many Glaciers looking for bear, etc., and I left the car carrying just one body. I went to the back of the car to switch bodies and freaked out because I could not the second body. And I hit full panic mode when I went searching for my camera backpack. And it wasn't there!

It took me another minute to realize that I was looking in the back of the WRONG mini-van. :wow

TonyD was staring at me wonderng why was I going through the back of that specific mini-van. You caught his expression after I told him what I just did...

Who knew that a white minivan looked so similar to a brown one? :D I still maintain that the back trunk area of a mini-van look alike once the trunk is popped.

Nice to know who would be this kind of people who look for the best scenes in order to convert it to $$.

Is that really what the background looked like? Holy Schmoly, I don't remember it having that much depth! Cool :)

Nevermind, I just realized that this is when we crossed it going TOWARDS the lake. That's a very different background from the one where we're on the way back FROM the lake.

    Do you have mine? :D:D

Thanks everyone. I had a blast at the shootout and glad I took some candids - actually wish I took more. By about day 3 in Montana (which was day 10 for the preshoot people) I had seen enough mountains. I shared this POV with others, but I love mountains from a distanceas much as I love them surrounding me.

And the Adam walk by was probably me panning with the bear - when I first saw the totally red shot in with my bear shots I thought 'what the...headscratch.gif '.

I have others in this gallery and do not protection turned on.
